Sometime week before last, we turned 3!!! :-)
In the midst of all the year-ending work, followed by trainings and our annual offsite, we just lost track of it. As we return back to work as usual this week it just strikes me that the blog is now 3 years old. We thank all our loyal supporters and followers who have been plugged in to the blog despite the infrequent postings of late. We aim to remedy that situation and use this tool to engage and inform you of all thats happening in the world of philanthropy and GiveIndia.

Last year we had :
47 posts
21,000+ visits
And a lot to learn on what it takes to have a blog with regular posts!
We would also like to thank some of the volunteers who contributed with their posts last year like Sriram Hariharan and Shashi Bhushan. We hope to see a lot more volunteers wanting to write in and contribute to building a culture of giving in the country.
Our year started with quite a bang with 4 new people joining our team on Apr 1st to make us a full pack of cards! (52 of us if you did'nt get that one :-)). We started the year in a flurry of activities with a 2-day sales training for our Payroll Giving Team. This was followed by an induction session for all the new joinees and those who had joined within the last 3-4 months - that was close to 18 people - we are expanding really rapidly. By the side, the Listing and Feedback teams were having their own 2-day session to strengthen our due-diligence and verification processes. We ended the week with a 2-day Annual Offsite at Kamath Residency in Nagothane where each of our teams presented our plans for the year ahead and had a few fun and games as well.
