The first BSA Hercules Bengaluru Cyclothon, for which GiveIndia was the Charity partner, took place nearly ten days ago but with all the flood news and updates, we haven't had a chance to tell you about it yet.
The event took place on Sunday, October 11 with thousands of participants gathered in a large hangar awaiting the start of the race. GiveIndia had 10 Corporate Challenge teams of 20 riders each take part as well as several individuals who had decided to raise money for a good cause. We're still tallying the funds raised and will let you know the figure soon.
The ride went off smoothly with young and old enjoying cycling down the course. After the event there were music and bicycle stunts that kept the crowd entertained.
