The latest company to join GiveIndia’s Payroll Giving Program is leading IT services company, Patni Computer Systems Ltd. The launch took place at Patni’s office in Andheri, Mumbai on December 31, 2008. Present at the launch were Mr Satish Joshi, Executive Director, and Mr Rajesh Padmanabhan, Executive Vice President- HR along with 25 other employees of Patni.
The program got off to an encouraging start with employees commiting Rs3950 to charity each month. Patni has over 12,000 employees across India, so this initial figure will grow over the coming weeks as GiveIndia Payroll Giving executives meet employees and introduce them to the program.
